How to Find Your Perfect Shirt Fit
To get the best fit, we strongly recommend measuring a formal or dress shirt that you already own and like the fit of, rather than measuring your body. This will give you the most accurate comparison to our chart.
What You'll Need:
A well-fitting dress shirt.
A flat measuring tape.
A flat surface.
Step-by-Step Measurement Guide
Lay your shirt buttoned-up and flat on a table before you begin.
A - Chest
How to Measure: Measure in a straight line from the seam under one armpit to the seam under the other.
Important: Our chart shows the full chest circumference. You must double the number you measured to compare it with the chart (e.g., if you measure 51cm, your chest value is 102cm).
B - Collar
How to Measure: Unbutton the collar and lay it flat.
Action: Measure in a straight line from the center of the button to the far end of the buttonhole. The measurement you get is the final collar size; do not double it.
C - Sleeve
How to Measure: This measurement is taken from the center of the back to the end of the sleeve cuff.
Action: Start your tape measure at the center of the back, right below the collar band. Run the tape across the top of the shoulder and continue down the sleeve to the very end of the cuff.
How to Use the Chart
Record Your Measurements: Note your final measurements for Chest (A), Collar (B), and Sleeve (C).
Compare and Prioritize: Find the size on the chart that is the closest match. For a dress shirt, the Collar (B) and Chest (A) are the most important for comfort and fit.
If You're Between Sizes: We recommend choosing the larger size. A tailor can easily make small adjustments, but making a shirt larger is often impossible.
